It offers numerous features like advanced search, auto-download, variable playback speeds, Chromecast and Android Auto support, a light/dark theme, home screen widget and many more. This application does not have a beautiful UI as Pocket Casts, but it more than makes up for it with the set of its features. Some of the interesting features it offers which other app lacks in, is the ability to organize your YouTube subscription and manage your RSS feed. It can also perform all the other general functions like auto-downloading, Chormecast, and android wear support etc.
This is an add supported freemium application so you don’t have to pay anything to check it out. This may be a good deal for some people but if you are irritated by the ads you can always upgrade to premium account.

If you are just starting out and want a free application without any ads, this one will meet your requirement. It has a beautiful modern design and is very easy to navigate. One of the best-looking podcatcher out there, it is also packed with features. It performs all the basic functions and also has Chromecast and android wear support.
One of the best features of Player.fm is its discoverability feature. Just tell it your interest and it will find you some quality content. It is not packed with features like some of the others we mentioned earlier, but if you want a clean and simple UI with good quality suggestions, you will it. Plus, it’s completely free!
