Apple iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus get price cuts in India

Apple has just announced new reduced pricing for the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus. The price cuts were expected, considering the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus were unveiled a couple of days back and they are expected to arrive in India next month.

iPhone 6

Apple launched the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus back in October last year and they had hiked the price of its devices in March and it’s only now that they are receiving a power cut. The iPhone 5s is the one with biggest price cut, which is plausible because it will be the entry level iPhone now. Apple is also rumored to be bringing an 8 GB iPhone 5s to cater to the emerging markets and to replace the 8 GB iPhone 5c. Check out the price cuts below:

Apple is also discontinuing the 128 GB variants of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus but you can still get them while the stocks last for Rs. 72,000 and Rs. 82,000 respectively.

As for the new prices, they should come into effect starting next week. Keep in mind though that these prices are MRP rates from Apple and you can get them a lot better price from third party retailers. In fact, the iPhone 5s 16 GB already sells for around Rs. 36,000. There are various cashback offers as well for the iPhones, so the prices should be even lesser than the MRP. The iPhone 5s is still a great device and you will able to get one for a great price soon.
