BlackBerry promised #BBMforAll last month but the rollout was so patchy that it seemed like a work done by some really small company and not the once giant we knew. Now the Canadian company is back here with its promise and is now making BBM finally available for iOS, Android devices.
You can install BBM from BBM.com or from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store although there’s a catch which is not everyone can go ahead and start using the service immediately. To tackle high demand BlackBerry has created some what of a queue system where every user will be registered in a while.
BBM head, Andrew Bocking said on BlackBerry’s official blog, “To help manage this unprecedented pent-up demand for BBM, we are implementing a simple line-up system to ensure a smooth rollout,”
BlackBerry has not yet mentioned anything about BBM coming to Windows Phone devices so Windows Phone users will have to live with that. So anyone installed the app yet? Do tell us in the comments below..
Update: Some users are mentioning that BBM for Android has been pulled out of the Store.
