The Samsung galaxy S4 Google Edition and the HTC One Google Edition have now gone on sale at the Google Play Store in the US right now as originally announced. So people who are fan of the pure Android experience and consider manufacturer skins bloated have two very capable devices to choose from.
For those who don’t know the Google Edition of the phone symbolises that these devices run pure unadulterated Android and not the usual TouchWiz and Sense the original galaxy S4 and One come with. The phones come in unlocked form and are priced at $599 for the One and $649 for the Galaxy S4. The orders put initially will get the device by 9th of July according to Google.
These devices can be great for people who love vanilla Android and want timely updates. The Nexus 4 is a good option and it comes at a great price and its sales are unlikely to take a hit but people who wanted the stock Android on some fantastic hardware finally have a choice.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One have their fans and it’ll be great to fun to watch who wins the pure Android competition. Google faced a lot of issues when the Nexus 4 went on sale so hopefully Google have sorted things out for these ultra high-end devices. If you live in the US, you can get these devices from the links below and do tell us which one of these smartphones you prefer with the pure Android love.
