Google hosting an event on July 24th, Android 4.3 is coming

We have been waiting for Android 4.3 since so long that it seems ages now. Jokes apart, Google has just sent out press invites for an event where we hope to know about the next Android iteration.

The event is scheduled to happen on July 24th at 19:00 GMT in San Francisco. The press invite reads, “Please join us for breakfast with Sundar Pichai.” As we all know Pichai is the VP of Android and Chrome so we are pretty sure about Android news on this event.

Android 4.3 will still be called Jelly Bean since it will be a minor update and we will have to wait for Android 5.0 Key Lime pie till the next Google I/O i guess. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition which went on sale recently came with the latest Android version that is Android 4.3 but we are yet to see any major changes in the new Android version apart from a few changes here and there. Hopefully it wasn’t the final build and we will see more features when Google unveils the Android 4.3.

Rumors also suggest that the second generation Nexus 7 will also be unveiled at the event. The new Nexus 7 is said to be coming with a full HD 7-inch display running on a Snapdragon 600 or S4 Pro processor. Asus had built the first Nexus 7 and is said to be building the new Nexus 7 as well.

The Google event is just a week away from now so there’s not much time until we know more about Android 4.3 and the next Nexus 7 Tablet. Hopefully we will get to see a few surprises as well, whatever that is announced at the event we will surely bring it to you so stay tuned.
