HTC One is arguably the best Android smartphone right now thanks to its awesome metal clad design, the Ultrapixel camera and a powerful spec sheet although Samsung fans will differ on this. So have you ever wished for a HTC One running Windows Phone? If yes then this rumor should rise your hopes up for a Windows Phone HTC One.
According to a source at Neowin, HTC is in works preparing a One with Windows Phone running the show. Although the report suggests that it won’t have the same screen estate and it could be between 4-5 inches which might be true because its highly unlikely HTC will bring the same One hardware with Windows Phone. The report also says that the One metal design will be intact along with Beat Audio optimizations.
The source also says that it has updated Windows Phone software that is the GDR2 which is said to bring support for FHD displays and Quad-core chipsets. So if there is such a device we can expect it to have the same awesome display the the HTC One features. Although not surely but the source assumes the device to feature an Ultrapixel camera.
It would be great if there is such a device in works since Windows Phone will benefit with another quality hardware along with the awesome Nokia offerings and it would be interesting to see Nokia getting some competition at the Windows Phone space but its better to take the rumor with a pinch of salt and wait until some concrete information about the existence of such device comes out.
