HTC One A9 leaked specs suggest a not so high-end smartphone

There have been a lot of rumors around the HTC One A9 and it has been speculated to be an upcoming premium smartphone from HTC. Well, the device might feature some premium design and looks but it is not going to be the flagship or a high-end phone, if the latest leak is believed.

HTC One A9 leaked specs

Evan Blass from the @evleaks fame has just posted the specifications of the HTC One A9 and if his track record is anything to go by, we are looking at the real deal. According to him, the One A9 will feature 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and it will be powered by the recently announced 1.5 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU.

The device is said to be packing 2 gigs of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage expandable via the microSD slot. There’s also said to be a 13 MP OIS camera on the rear and a 4 MP UltraPixel camera for your selfies. The device will feature a fingerprint scanner packed in a 7 mm thick body, which will feature a modest 2150 mAh battery.

So, these are the specs from the leak, they don’t sound too premium, do they? The device might get good traction if HTC gets the pricing right. The Taiwanese company is expected to unveil the One A9 alongside more smartphones and a rumored Android Wear smartwatch at an event in Japan on September 29. As always, we will keep you posted.
