HTC One Max, the phablet from HTC we are expecting to see in October has made an appearance once again and this time the source is official.
The leaked photos are courtesy of the China regulatory which by the way is China’s equivalent to US’ FCC. The leaked photos show what we have seen quite a few times now, a huge display, the same metallic One design we have come to love from the HTC One and yes there’s a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The rumored specs for the One Max are a 5.9-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon S4 Pro or the Snapdragon 600 but reports are inclined towards Snapdragon S4 Pro, the GPU is Adreno 320 for sure. There will be the UltraPixel camera as well but we aren’t sure if there will be OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) accompanying too. Then we can clearly see the fingerprint scanner on the back in all the pictures that have leaked so far. We can truly say fingerprint scanners are the latest “thing” in our smartphones.
We quite like the approach HTC has taken with its One range of smartphones which include the flagship One, the One Mini and in the coming month One Max since we truly love that metal design and its nice that HTC is bringing it to all screen sizes.
The rumors suggest that we’ll be witnessing One Max launch next month with a price tag of $800 which is hefty but completely obvious. So are you awaiting a HTC phablet? Do tell us in the comments section below.
