There have been a plethora of rumors around the upcoming Nexus devices. Apparently, there is the new Nexus 5 by LG and a new Nexus to replace the Nexus 6 made by Huawei. Well, the Huawei Nexus is all but confirmed and its specs have leaked, thanks to a benchmark listing on GFXBench.
The Huawei Nexus with the codename Huawei Angler has been listed on the benchmark website GFXBench and we have most of the specs of the device. According to the listing, the Huawei Nexus will feature a 5.7-inch display of QHD (2560x1440p) resolution and it will be powered by the Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU and 3 GB RAM.
The camera on the rear is mentioned as 11 MP but we can expect it to be 13 MP, while the front is listed 7 MP, so it should be an 8 MP front-facing camera. The benchmark software tends to undermine these specs, thus the reason of lower camera resolutions. The device is also listed to be featuring 32 GB of internal storage.
The device is running the latest and greatest Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Previous rumors had suggested the device to be packing a USB Type-C connector and it could be true considering Google announced support for it with Android 6.0.
Google is expected to out two Nexus devices on October 29, one should be the Huawei Nexus we while the other should be the LG Nexus 5 or 5x or whatever Google plans on saying it.
