Indian smartphone maker Micromax has just announced that they have signed our Hollywood star and our very own Wolverine that is Hugh Jackman as its brand ambassador.
Micromax has also teased the upcoming Canvas Turbo in a video and Hugh Jackman features in the video for a brief moment. We had earlier reported that Micromax is working on its first smartphone featuring a Full HD (1920 x 1080) display dubbed the Canvas Turbo. The device is also said to come with a 1.5 GHz Quad-Core MT6589T MediaTek Processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. There is no more concrete information about the specs of the device or the screen size but rumors suggest a 6-6.3-inch display, 13 MP rear camera with a LED flash, 5 MP front facing one, 1 GB RAM although some say 2 GB and we hope for the latter, 32 GB internal storage along with microSD expansion.
Coming back to Hugh Jackman’s association with Micromax, the Australian actor said:
