Recently, every tech brand has been working at pushing out some or the other wearable for your wrist. Smartwatches are gradually becoming fashionable and popular. How about if we say that an actual and genuine watchmaker took a stand at the smartwatch segment? Maybe all those proficient years of crafting wrist accessories possibly help make a better smartwatch! revealing the surprise – Titan launches the Juxt Pro wearable tech accessory which is truly a ‘smart’ watch. Let’s have a quick look and find out if the legacy turns out to be truly spectacular or the opposite.
What We Like about the Juxt Pro Titan Smartwatch
The built quality and its finish are as expected – top notch! The Juxt Pro uses a 316 L surgical grade steel for that great effect. You can choose the all black / grey black casing. Its leather strap can be interchanged for a number of other compatible straps. Weight is evenly distributed across the titan’s smartwatch, so it’s convenient to wear and looks like the sort that can even handle some rough usage.
It’s actually a big and chunky smartwatch. Some people might feel that it’s slightly heavier and bulkier than what they would prefer and it’s actually suitable for bigger wrists. It is certainly not a ladies smartwatch! The user interface of the Juxt Pro Titan smartwatch is pretty smooth and functional. It’s intuitive enough to get used to rather quickly.
Swipe left on the 1.3 – inch dial (360 × 360 pixels) featuring an IPS LCD touchscreen for notifications. Swipe up to access your built – in apps like music, calendar, stopwatch, weather, alarm and timer among others. All the notifications are displayed in a tiny window and are discreet. These open up only when you tap on them. The Camera app and the Safety app (built in apps) deserve a special mention.
Not to forget about the Battery (450mAh ) life. Even if the Juxt Pro titan smartwatch is connected to a phone buzzing with notifications all the time even then it lasts all day long.
What We Don’t about the Juxt Pro Titan Smartwatch
There are a couple of cons with the Juxt Pro Titan smartwatch. There’s no heart – rate sensor in a smartwatch retailing at this price (around Rs. 23,000) point. No microphone for voice commands is another disadvantage.
Titan has set a premium price bracket for a smartwatch that lacks certain common features.
The Safety feature is a great and unique idea but Titan has devoted an entire button solely for prompt access to this feature is a bit annoying. This is one of the two buttons placed on the right of the bezel.
Buy or Not?
The built quality and premium feel is unquestionable! If the size & weight does not bother you, the Titan Juxt Pro is an acceptable smartwatch for you at the end of the day.
Titan Juxt Pro smartwatch has a really impressive collection of specifications but it’s also likely to receive a few unfavourable responses and comparisons too.
