LG G2, the latest flagship from LG launches in India starting at Rs. 41,500

The South Korean manufacturer LG has just announced its latest flagship Android smartphone, the LG G2 here in India. The LG G2 was made official globally last month and its here in India just now.


The LG G2 features a gorgeous 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display which is surrounded by the narrowest bezels we have ever seen in a smartphone making for a bigger screen in a much compact body. It is powered by the Snapdragon 800 which is clocked at 2.3 GHz and there’s two gigs of RAM for your multitasking purposes. There’s a 13 MP camera along with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) which records videos in 1080p, there’s a 2.1 MP front facing camera as well.

The flagship smartphone from LG weighs 140 g and measures 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9mm. There’s a big 3000 mAh battery to make sure you enjoy your G2 for a longer duration.

The LG G2 comes with Android 4.2.2 and LG has customized the Android version a lot. There’s double tap to wake feature just like the Nokia Lumias which LG likes to call ‘knock knock’. The design is also pretty unique as it features the power button and the volume rocker keys on the back while the sides and the front have no buttons at all.

LG G2 comes in black and white variants. The MRP of the 16 GB model is Rs. 41,500 while the 32 GB will cost you Rs. 44,5oo. The device is available all across India starting today.

LG had recently launched its phablet here in India, the LG Optimus G Pro and now its taking the Indian market by storm with the LG G2. All in all this is the best LG smartphone to date which is not plagued by negatives other flagships from LG had. The display is gorgeous, the design is new and impressive, there are some cool software customizations, it has the top specs for a Android smartphone right now, huge battery. So if you are looking for a top of the shelf Android smartphone this festive season then LG G2 should surely be on your list.
