Micromax and Aircel collaborate to bring attractive bundled plans

Micromax, the second largest smartphone maker in India has teamed up with Aircel, the fastest growing Indian service provider to bring attractive bundled plans for their users.

The deal brings attractive plans from Aircel on voice, data and wap services for Micromax smartphones, feature phones and dongles as well. The collaboration means that you’ll find Micromax devices on display at various Aircel stores all over the country and you can also expect Aircel sim cards to be bundled with these devices along with those new exclusive plans. Both the companies detailed the plans for various devices, you can check out the picture below to get an idea about the bundled plans. Aircel is also offering its various WAP content like music and video services like the Popcorn TV for free on Micromax smartphones for a period of three months.

The deal is a win win situation for the both the companies since both are growing at a very fast rate in the Indian market and as Mr. K. Kadhiravan, Aircel Circle Business Head for Karnataka said at the press meet, “Smartphones are going to drive 60 % of the data in the next four years” so the tie up makes complete sense.

With Micromax’s market share growing at a speedy rate and Aircel being the fastest growing mobile operator, things truly sound rosy for both the companies. The Mircomax-Aircel partnership is surely going to give both the companies a boast thanks to Micromax’s large portfolio of value for money smartphones and Aircel’s attractive plans for data and voice and ofcourse its various WAP services.
