Microsoft is all set to announce its new Windows 10 devices on October 6 and while we have heard rumors of flagships like the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, there have been no rumors around the budget devices. Well, not anymore, as the Microsoft Lumia 550 has just leaked.
The Lumia 550 has leaked, thanks to a Swiss Store and it is priced at CHF 114 (~$117/Rs. 7,760). We had previously seen a device with the model number RM-1127 on the GFXBench listing and the specs of the leaked Lumia 550 are almost the same.
The leak reveals that the Microsoft Lumia 550 will feature a 4.7-inch HD (1280x720p) display and it will be powered by the Quad-core Snapdragon 210 chipset with 1 GB RAM. Other specs are said to be a 5 MP primary camera, 1.2 MP front-facing camera, 8 GB internal storage, 4G LTE support and the latest and greatest Windows 10 Mobile.
Microsoft might announce the device at the event on October 6 but we expect the device to be announced sometime later, considering the Redmond giant already has a lot on its platter for that day (Lumia 950, 950 XL, Surface Pro 4, Microsoft Band 2).
