The first Tablet from Nokia is now finally real as the Finnish company has revealed the Nokia Lumia 2520 Tablet at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi today. The Tablet has been rumored since very long which now seem like ages and had also leaked in a press image recently.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 features a 10.1” 1080p full HD (1920×1080) AHIPS Capacitive Multi-Touch Display along with Gorilla Glass 2 for durability, a 2.2 Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2 gigs of RAM. There’s 32 GB storage along with microSD expansion.
The Windows RT running Tablet features a 6.7 MP Auto Focus camera with ZEISS optics and a 2 MP HD wide angle front facing camera. A couple of front facing stereo speaker grace the Nokia Lumia 2520 which should make media consumption a joy. There’s 8000 mAh battery which is said to give upto 11 hours of juice on the device, the battery also offers quick charging. There’s 4G LTE connectivity along with the usual array of connectivity options. Check out the device in action below:

Nokia has also introduced a cool accessory for the Tablet, the Nokia Power Keyboard which is a keyboard with a Touchpad and it wraps the device as a case as well. The Nokia Power Keyboard also brings with it 5 hours of battery juice too and there are two USB ports too.
Nokia Lumia 2520 runs Microsoft’s Windows RT operating system which was recently updated to Windows RT 8.1 along with Nokia’s exclusive apps such as Nokia Camera, Storyteller, HERE maps, Nokia Music. The device will come in matte Black and Cyan along with glossy Red and White and will cost you $499. The Tablet will go on sale in Finland, US and UK initially and gradually spread to other countries as well.
Windows RT has failed to gain any traction in the Tablet market whatsoever so it’ll be interesting to see if the Nokia Lumia 2520, the Finnish company’s first attempt a Tablet manages to get it some success.
