We all know that Nokia will be unveiling six new devices at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi on October 22nd and the Nokia Lumia 1520 is going to be the flagbearer of all the devices. The Nokia Lumia 1520 has been leaked quite a few times now and it has again leaked in a red high quality press render thanks to the same good old @evleaks.
The picture shows the Nokia Lumia 1520 in red and you can see the updated arrangement of tiles on the screen which is said to come to all Windows Phone devices with the GDR3 update along with Nokia specific updates dubbed “Bittersweet Shimmer”. The device seems to have very less bezel which is great considering the big bezels we see on Nokia devices. There’s the new StoryTeller app which had also leaked very recently.

According to rumors, the Lumia 1520 will feature a huge 6-inch Full HD display of unknown type, the powerful Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM, 3400 mAh battery, expandable microSD card slot and built in wireless charging. The phablet will come with the latest Windows Phone update that is GDR3 and “Bittersweet Shimmer” we already talked about.
The Lumia 1520 will feature top of the line specs and it will interesting to see if Nokia and Microsoft make use of the screen estate in a meaningful way considering Samsung Galaxy Note series has quite a few handy features making use of the huge screen. Out of all the devices we know Nokia is unveiling at the event, we are most excited about the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 525, the follow up to the insanely popular Lumia 520 which should be launched alongside.
