With just a week left before Sony’s next generation PS4 hits the major markets, Sony has started revealing more things about the PS4. Sony has detailed all the apps for your entertainment that will be present on the PS4 from the first day of its release and they have also shown us what’s under the hood of the much awaited gaming console.
There are almost all the popular entertainment apps such as Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, Redbox Instant. NBA Game Time and NHL GameCenter LIVE will also be onboard. That’s not all as Sony has its own Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services on the PS4 as well along with some other names such as Crackle, a VOD service in affiliation with Sony Pictures Television, Crunchyroll if you are a fan of the Anime series as it brings all the Anime footage, VUDU which works similarly to Hulu. There’s Yupp TV which brings almost 150 TV Channels and movies from India and there’s EPIX, another VOD service for movies, comedy specials, documentaries etc ..
The folks at Wired have also got hold of a video from Sony which shows what’s inside the hood in the PS4 so better check out the video:
We had reported earlier that the Sony PS4 will be making its way to India before the end of this year and we are happy to find some of the apps which are Indian centric. So anyone planning to get the PS4 or will you wait for the Xbox One? Do tell us in comments below…
