Recently Sony has launched Xperia C5 Ultra Dual for selfie lovers in three color variants – Black, White, and Glossy Soft Mint at the price of Rs. 29,990. It is the third “Ultra” device that has launched in India. Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual strike the right balance between the size and specifications. The phone is good for selfie lovers as the front-facing camera is of 13 Megapixels and is amongst of the best shooter cameras. Moreover, the smartphone is packed with a 1.7 GHz oct-core MediaTek processor to deliver the best performance along with 2 GB RAM and internal storage of 16 GB. Design and Display

The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra comes with an attractive design with White, Black, and Soft Mift color variants and is large enough to be noticed in your hands wherever you go. It weighs 187 g and 164.2×79.6×8.2mm in dimensions. It is slightly thicker and heavier if we compare it with Xperia T2 Ultra. It has glossy back design and is a little prone to smudges. It is built around a metallic frame with plastic corners. On the left side, their is a cover that can be pulled out to reveal the distinct dual Nano-SIM and microSD trays. There are no physical buttons for Home, Back and Application Switcher, but it comes with on-screen touch buttons. It has a 3.5mm audio jack at the top of the device with MicroUSB port and microphone port at the bottom of the device. On the top of the front part of the device, there a front-facing 13 MP camera with a LED flash to its right.

Overall, the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual is comfortable in hands and comes with 6-inch Full-HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with screen resolutions 1080×1920 at 367 ppi pixel density. The display is sufficiently bright and has good viewing angles, and you can manually adjust the white balance. You can also choose between the Super-vivid mode and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 from the display settings to find a color gamut that’s more to your taste.

Camera and Battery

The Xperia C5 Ultra comes with a 13 MP and 4128×3096 pixels and autofocus rear camera which captures clear pictures with accurate color reproduction when there is ample light. Also the rear camera features geo-tagging, face and smile detection, touch focus, panorama and HDR with video resolutions [email protected] and HDR. While coming to its front camera, it features same resolutions as of rear and it is not uncommon these days. Sony has delivered a very good feature for selfie lovers.

It comes with 2GB RAM with internal storage of 16 GB and you can extend its external storage with up to 200 GB via the microSD slot. Out of 16 GB internal storage only 9 GB is accessible by users and you increase its internal storage by uninstalling preinstalled apps including Facebook, Chrome, AVG, News from Socialife, OfficeSuite, BIGFLIX, Jive, Real Football and File Commander. While coming to its major performances like playing H videos at high bitrate, and Loudspeaker, the phone is overall good.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra runs on Google’s operating system Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sony’s own skin on top and can upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
