Finally, Sony India has launched two new Dual SIM smartphones. On this Wednesday, Sony India has launched Xperia Z5 Dual at he price of Rs. 52,990 and Xperia Z5 Premium Dual at the price of Rs. 62,990. The Sony Xperia Z5 Dual will go on sale from this Friday and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual will go on sale from 7th of November. But Sony hasn’t brought the Xperia Z5 Compact to India and will not be bringing Xperia Z5 Compact in the first phase of its flagship rollout.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Dual will be available in three colors – Gold, Green and Black and the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will be available in two colors – Gold and Chrome. Sony Xperia Z5 Dual and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual both runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with quick charging feature. With 10 minutes of charging, Sony’s UCH10 quick charger meant to deliver 5.5 hours of battery life.
The Xperia z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 Premium Dual customers can also redeem a Smart Cover for their smartphones worth Rs. 3,500 from Xperia lounge and also include content from Sony Liv, Sony Music, Hungama Play and Amazon Kindle worth Rs. 4000 for free with both the devices. The customers who pre-book the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual before 4th November will get headphones ( MDR-EX31BN noise-cancellation ) worth Rs. 5,490 for free. There are some other purchasing offers for customers like up to Rs. 5,000 cashback when you purchase one of the smartphones from HDFC bank cards. There is also an EMI offer from Bajaj Finance, in which customers can buy one of the smartphones with a down payment of Rs. 2,999.
Both Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium comes with a 5 Mp front camera and 23 MP rear camera with F/2.0 Lens and 1/2.3 inch Exmor RS sensor. The highlight of the Sony’s new flagship is the improved camera and also the company had claimed at the time launch that the camera is designed inside its new flagship using the same technology that we may have seen in its Alpha range of interchangeable lens cameras.
The Sony Xperia Z5 comes with 5.2-inch, lower full-HD display with screen resolutions 1080×1920 pixels. On the other hand, Xperia Z5 Premium 5.5-inch 4splay with screen resolutions 2160×3840 pixels with pixel density of 806 ppi. Xperia Z5 Premium is the world’s first smartphone that is featuring 4K display.
Both the smartphones powered by a powerful 64 bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC processor with 3 GB RAM. Both the smartphones have In-built storage of 32 GB and a memory card slot that supports up to 2 TB of external storage.
Both the smartphones have non-removable batteries with different battery specifications. The Xperia Z5 Dual have 2900 mAh battery and Xperia Z5 Premium have 3430 mAh battery.
