There have been rumors around a new Mi 4 variant dubbed Mi 4c and latest rumors suggest that Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi 4c later this month, that is September 22.
The Mi 4c is supposed to feature specifications between that of the Mi 4 and the Mi 4i. The Mi 4c is rumored to be packing a 5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display, the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 16 GB storage, 2 GB RAM, 13 MP rear camera along with a 5 MP front-facing camera.
Other rumored specs are 3080 mAh battery and a USB Type-C connector, which should make it the first Xiaomi device to incorporate the new connector tech. The handset should come with the latest MIUI v7.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The latest leak suggests that the device will also come with a infrared port.
The device has previously leaked and rumored on multiple occasions, so its arrival does not seem like a surprise. According to GizChina, Xiaomi will unveil the Mi 4c in China first and then bring it to other countries including India.
